UPDATE: ARGOS HUDDLE UP SCHEDULE (APRIL 15 - MAY 1)

Argos will have visited a total of 15 schools in the month of April

TORONTO – The Toronto Argonauts will host 15 Huddle Up assemblies this month to conclude another year of the club’s renowned Huddle Up program. In its 16th year, the Huddle Up Bullying Prevention Program, presented by Tim Hortons, will have hosted 40 assemblies in GTA schools from January to April.

Since the program’s inception in 2001, Huddle Up has visited more than 600,000 students across eight different school boards in the Greater Toronto Area with over 50 different Argonauts players, receiving nationwide recognition for its efforts.

Through this program, Argos players, staff and cheerleaders will lead the way in educating youth on making positive choices through student empowerment and engagement by sharing personal stories that encourage friendship and inclusion. Each school visited this year will take the Huddle Up pledge that was initiated during the Huddle Up Bullying Prevention Rally held during the Grey Cup Festival in Toronto last November.

Argonauts Matt Black, Jamal Campbell, Lirim Hajrullahu, Tyler Holmes, Shawn Lemon and Corey Watman will participate in the final month of this year’s in-school programming.

*Due to school regulations, media wishing to attend any in-school events must contact the Toronto Argonauts Communications Department in advance.**
