Toronto Argonauts to visit Holland Bloorview Kids Rehabilitation Hospital on Monday, October 22
WHAT: The Toronto Argonauts will participate in a one-of-a-kind Holland Bloorview Kids Rehabilitation Hospital Takeover on Monday. The visit marks the team’s biggest community appearance of the year and will see all 75 players registered on the team’s active roster and practice squad meet with all 200 children at the state-of-the-art hospital. Players will spend time with children distributing gifts, taking pictures, signing autographs and playing football.
Established in 1899, Holland Bloorview serves children and youth from across Ontario and Canada. The hospital sees over 2,000 unique diagnoses annually, including brain injury, cerebral palsy and developmental delay. The hospital’s holistic approach includes life skills training, physical and cognitive development along with music, arts, science and technology programming.
