MEDIA AVAILABILITY WITH MEMBERS OF THE ’96-’97 GREY CUP CHAMPIONS

Sunday, July 23 at 6:45pm ET

On Monday, July 24, the Toronto Argonauts are set to celebrate the 20th anniversary of the ’96-’97 back-to-back Grey Cup champions throughout their game against the Ottawa Redblacks at BMO Field.

More than 30 players, coaches and staff from those teams are attending and will be celebrated during a special halftime ceremony.

The newest All-Time Argo, Doug Flutie, is returning to Toronto for the first time since attending the 100th Grey Cup in 2012. He will be joined by teammates Michael ‘Pinball’ Clemons, Duane Dmytryshyn, Robert Drummond, Chad Folk, Reggie Givens, Johnny Harris, Andre Kirwan, Paul Masotti, Derrell 'Mookie' Mitchell, Mike Morreale, George Nimako, Jeremy O'Day, Brendan Rogers, Adrion Smith, Lester Smith, Pierre Vercheval, Don Wilson and Kelly Wiltshire.

Members of the team will be available to media at 6:45pm at The Keg on York St. in downtown Toronto, prior to a private reception for the players, coaches and staff.

To mark the occasion, the Argos are throwing back ticket prices with a special offer of two tickets for only $19.97. Fans in attendance will receive a Doug Flutie Bobblehead at the gates (while supplies last). The Bobblehead was modeled after the historic photo of Flutie wearing red glass cutter gloves during the ‘Snow Bowl’ Grey Cup in 1996 in Hamilton.
