ARGOS S.J. GREEN NAMED CFL TOP PERFORMER IN WEEK 9
Earns third Top Performer recognition of 2017
TORONTO -- Toronto Argonauts receiver SJ Green has been named a CFL Top Performer of the Week for Week 9.
Green hauled in nine receptions for 145 yards and two touchdowns in a 38-6 victory against his former team, the Montreal Alouettes on Saturday. This marks the third time this season that Green has been honoured as a Top Performer.
Green also celebrated a career milestone on Saturday afternoon, hauling in his 500th career reception on his final catch of the day.
The 11-year CFL veteran currently ranks second in the league in receiving yards (850) and third in receptions (56). The product of the University of South Florida also has five touchdowns on the season, already the third-most of his career.
