ARGOS SIGN WR KHALIL PADEN

TORONTO – The Toronto Argonauts announced today that the club has signed international receiver Khalil Paden
 
Paden, a 6-1, 180-pound native of Granada Hills, California, signs in Toronto after spending parts of the last three seasons with the Ottawa Redblacks. Appearing in 19 regular season games, he has caught 39 passes for 626 yards and a touchdown.

The 26-year old receiver finished his college career at Northern Arizona after transferring from San Jose State. In 21 games for the Lumberjacks, he hauled in 81 passes for 1,191 yards and nine touchdowns. The 2011 Honorable Mention All-Big Sky selection led his team in receptions (61), receiving yards (991) and touchdowns (8) as a senior.
 
Prior to signing with the Redblacks in 2015, he spent time with the Calgary Stampeders, the Arena Football League’s Orlando Predators and the United Football League’s Sacramento Mountain Lions.
