ARGOS SIGN OL JAY GUILLERMO

TORONTO – The Toronto Argonauts announced today that the club has signed international offensive lineman Jay Guillermo.

Guillermo, a 6-3, 310-pound, native of Maryville, Tennessee, played 46 games, starting in 29, over four seasons at Clemson. The two-time All-ACC selection posted 69 knockdown blocks in 2,552 snaps in his career with the Tigers. He anchored a Clemson offensive line that paved the way for the Tigers’ 2017 CFB National Championship run prior to attending rookie mini-camp with the NFL’s Tennessee Titans and Buffalo Bills in April.

The Argonauts also announced today that the club has released international receiver Chuck Jacobs and international defensive back Roderick Sweeting.
