ARGOS RE-SIGN NATIONAL LB NAKAS ONYEKA

TORONTO – The Toronto Argonauts announced today the club has re-signed National LB Nakas Onyeka through 2020.

The native of Brampton, Ontario played in 17 regular-season games in his rookie season and piled up 14 special teams tackles. An injury in Week 2 of 2018 ended Onyeka's season early as the linebacker finished the season with three special teams tackles and one defensive tackle.

Onyeka led the OUA in solo tackles with 51 in his final year and was named a First Team OUA All-Star, First Team U Sports All-Canadian and received the OUA President's Award as the conference's best defensive player.
