ARGOS LOOK TO CLINCH FIRST PLACE IN EAST DIVISION IN FINAL GAME OF REGULAR SEASON

TORONTO – The Toronto Argonauts travel to the West Coast to take on the BC Lions on Saturday night at 10:00 p.m. ET in their final regular season game of the 2017 season.

With a win, the Argos would clinch first place in the East Division for the first time since 2013 and host the Eastern Final on Sunday, November 19 at 1:00 p.m.

Regardless of the outcome of Saturday’s game, the Argos are guaranteed to host their first-ever playoff game at BMO Field. If the Argos finish in second place in the East Division, they will host the Eastern Semi-Final on Sunday, November 12 at 1:00 p.m. ET.

Ricky Ray, a unanimous choice as the team’s Most Outstanding Player in 2017, enters the game with his most passing yards (5,207) as an Argo and the third-highest total of his storied career. After already setting a new team single-season completion record (448) and crossing the 60,000-yard career mark last game, Ray could set a new CFL record for single-season completions with 34 against the Lions.
