ARGOS HUDDLE UP BULLYING PREVENTION PROGRAM KICKS OFF 18TH YEAR
WHAT: The Toronto Argonauts will officially launch the 18th year of the club’s Huddle Up Bullying Prevention Program presented by Tim Hortons on Thursday morning.
“Pinball” Clemons, Argos players, staff and cheerleaders will lead the assembly launch in educating youth on making positive choices by sharing personal stories that encourage, embrace and celebrate diversity and inclusion. Focused on improving the well-being of students in the Greater Toronto Area, Huddle Up hopes to inspire students, build positive character and instill a positive sense of belonging and self-awareness.
Since launching in 2001, the program has seen over 50 Argos players involved and has reached over 600,000 students with empowering messages to prevent bullying. The Toronto Argonauts will visit over 40 elementary and secondary schools across the GTA from January to April.
