ARGOS FAN DAY RETURNS TO ALUMNI FIELD AT YORK UNIVERSITY SATURDAY

TORONTO – With the 2017 Training Camp underway and the pre-season set to kickoff next week, the Toronto Argonauts are inviting fans and media to York University’s Alumni Field this Saturday, June 3, for the return of Argos Fan Day.

The Argos will give their fans a first glimpse of the 2017 team before they open the pre-season next Thursday vs. the Montreal Alouettes at BMO Field. Starting at 11 a.m., Argos faithful will have the opportunity to see the Double Blue live in action during practice under the watch of newly hired head coach Marc Trestman. The practice will feature players going through positional drills and game simulated periods to prepare players for every scenario to keep up with the fast pace of the CFL game.

This year’s Fan Day will offer fans and families a free, entertaining and interactive opportunity to meet their favourite Argos player following practice at 12 p.m. The day will also feature several fan-favourites and family friendly activities, including on-site food trucks, games, face painting, live music by DJ Connor Cutz, and of course the 2017 Argos Cheerleaders. Fans will also have the opportunity to get ready for the 2017 season with access to some of the hottest merchandise and gear available at the Argos Shop on-site at Fan Day this weekend.
