ARGOS ADD DB RYAN REID

TORONTO – The Toronto Argonauts announced today that the team has signed international defensive back Ryan Reid through the 2019 season.

Reid, 23, spent 2017 training camp with the Los Angeles Chargers and recorded three solo tackles and two assisted tackles in four preseason games. The 5-9, 190-pound native of Dallas, Texas, played in 44 games, starting 35 across four seasons at Baylor University. With the Bears, he tallied 89 total tackles, one tackle for a loss, three forced fumbles, and 28 passes defended including six interceptions, one of which was returned for a touchdown. In 2016, Reid was named Honourable Mention All-Big 12 at cornerback by league coaches and second team All-Big 12 by ESPN.

Reid will join the rest of the Argos when the team heads South for their 2018 Mini Camp at IMG Academy from April 17-19.
